#1: Launch

Good news everyone!

For those of you who were led to this blog by a gaming forum in which I advertised it: Welcome!

For everyone else: I'm a German video game collector who has always hated blogs, but given the unusual circumstances I opened one myself. Oh, the irony...
Me and my family is going to move and migrate to Canada, land of open spaces & home of Ned Flanders' neighborino.

This blog will serve the purpose to document every step of the move to Canada - which is indeed related to video games since I plan to take my rather extensive collection with me. That includes 600 video game magazines, a little more than 1000 boxed video games, a huge bunch of boxed hardware (consoles+access.) as well as several RGB monitors from 14" to 29" and one Japanese arcade cabinet.
Sounds like a challenge?
It sure will be. Everything must be extremely well packaged so it won't get damaged while the container is travelling on the Atlantic Ocean.

I will keep record of the procedure with lots of pictures & comments.
It is likely that I will add some unrelated posts just for fun, concerning rare games, gameplay gimmicks or stuff I just bought (if it is an interesting item, don't you already start browsing for a facepalm-image! :P I won't post any packshots of 360-games!).
